How I got here
It started the way a lot of good things do: playing Minecraft with my youngest.
Watching her build
More and more, I found myself just watching. She builds things from memory, no tutorial and no plan on paper, and she does it faster than I ever could. Meanwhile, I was the one placing the same walls, floors and farms for the hundredth time, and repetitive builds had gotten boring.
So I started wondering whether the computer could do the repetitive part and leave the fun part to us.
The first two builds
As a proof of concept I made two examples: a mob spawner and a house. Pick a spot, run one command, and the whole build places itself, block by block. Once those worked, I knew the idea held up.
Then the World Manager
Shortly after came the World Manager. Most of my youngest's hard drive was filled with years of Minecraft worlds, over 100 GB of them, and that left her in a tough spot: trying to work out which world was which.
So I built a tool that finds every world on the computer, Java and Bedrock, shows each one with its size and when it was last played, and lets you back up or clean out the ones you pick. Backups are checked before anything is removed, and deletes go to the Recycle Bin, so nothing is lost by accident.
And now, this
One build turned into many: villages, pyramids, temples, for Java and Bedrock. This site is where they'll live, pay what you want, so other families and builders can skip the boring part too.
Have a build you'd love to have placed for you? Request a build. Build things yourself and want to work together? Let's talk.
